Our Current Rescue Partners
New Leash Rescue
Our mission is to help the dogs and cats who cannot help themselves. Animals in need come to us from shelters, impounds, and owner surrenders and receive the veterinary care and behavioral support they need to place them in permanent, loving homes. We collaborate with other rescues, veterinary clinics, and trainers to ensure the best placement for each animal, while also providing support and resources for families after adoption.
Rescued Pets Are Wonderful
Rescued Pets Are Wonderful is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer animal rescue organization serving the Twin Cities metro area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats left homeless for whatever reason – focusing on the ones with major medical issues or of senior age. These are the ones that are usually overlooked because they are not “highly adoptable.” They are also the ones that cost the most to the organizations. We believe they are the most in need of help!
Ruff Start Rescue
Ruff Start Rescue is an extraordinary foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit companion animal rescue that radiates compassion and dedication. Our unwavering mission extends beyond borders, reaching communities throughout Minnesota and the southern states plagued by stray pet overpopulation. We fearlessly rescue the voiceless victims of neglect, abandonment, and despair—dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and many other critters. Every single day, our tireless efforts are propelled by volunteers, fosters, and supporters who unite as a force of unwavering love, saving thousands of lives.
The Rescue Crew
As a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization, The Rescue Crew strives to prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of companion animals by finding them loving forever homes. We rescue dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, breeds and conditions; with our priority being the most urgent pets in our local shelters in the Twin Cities metropolitan area and impounds throughout the state of Minnesota that are facing imminent risk of euthanasia without rescue support.
